Join Our Singing Community
Discover how to become part of Dumfries Community Choir. Rehearsals are held weekly at our accessible venue, and new members are always welcome to share in the joy of singing together.
We are absolutely open to everyone. We try to maintain a maximum capacity of 110 members throughout the year, and to maintain this we keep an active waiting list. You can join the waiting list below.
For your first session, we usually invite you to come and see what it is like, you will be able to sneak in at the back and you do not even need to tell anyone who you are.

We are an independent organisation which has been grown entirely from grass roots. We are well aware that sometimes you do not have enough money to afford everything in life. With that in mind, we offer free scholarships for one year for anyone who is having a hard time. You will be able to tell us about your circumstances when you sign up and this information is not shared with any other members.
